Lorevyn is a reading tracker app built by Richey AI Labs. This policy explains what information the app handles and how. Short version: your reading data stays on your device. We do not run servers that store your library, and we do not sell or share your data with anyone.
Lorevyn does not create an account for you and does not collect personal information on our servers. All of your books, shelves, goals, notes, reading history, and preferences are stored locally on your device.
Camera. Lorevyn uses the camera only when you choose to scan a book barcode (ISBN) or capture a cover image to add a book to your library. Camera access is used in the moment, on your device, and no image or video is uploaded anywhere. You can deny this permission; barcode scanning will be unavailable but the rest of the app works normally.
Internet. Lorevyn may contact public book metadata services (for example, to fetch a book cover or title when you add a book) so you get the correct information. These requests contain the book identifier you are looking up. They do not contain your reading history, your identity, or any account information.
Lorevyn does not use third-party analytics, advertising networks, tracking pixels, or user behavior profiling. We do not build a profile of you. We do not know who you are.
You can export your library to a JSON or CSV file from Settings. Those files are created on your device and shared only when you choose to share them. You can also restore a previously exported JSON backup. We do not receive copies of these files.
If you purchase Lorevyn Premium, the transaction is handled by Google Play Billing. Google processes the payment. Lorevyn does not receive or store your payment details.
Lorevyn is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
If this policy changes, the effective date at the top will be updated. Material changes will be noted in the app's release notes.
